Task Forces

ORT’s activities are organized into the following Task Forces:

The organization-by-task-force allows members of the Advisory Board, subject matter experts, and members of the general public to focus on a manageable set of related topics. Each Task Force reports to the Advisory Board, which then provides recommendations and overall direction for the work as a whole.

Specifically, the Task Forces are charged with convening meetings or workshops that focus on accumulating data, documenting expertise, educating stakeholders and the public; and encouraging community leadership on relevant topic areas. In addition, the Task Forces should identify near-term action items that might be pursued by ORT in parallel with developing the regional vision.

Each Task Force is addressing the following series of questions in the context of the 10-county region:

  • Where are we now?
  • Where are we headed if status quo is maintained?
  • Where do we want to go?
  • How do we get there?
